Mundelein Community Bank Hosts Grand Opening Celebration Events

To celebrate the opening of its second location, Mundelein Community Bank will host a series of events beginning the official grand opening day, Thursday, January 29 with cake and tailgating snacks, and continuing through Saturday, February 7. Celebratory activities will take place during the bank's normal business hours Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the new location (169 N. Lake St., Mundelein, IL 60060). The grand opening festivities will include a Wheel of Fun, and a $25 gift card giveaway for the first 10 people who open an account each day.1 To mark the grand opening, the ribbon cutting will start at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 29th at the new facility.

The bank joins the Village of Mundelein, and other local businesses, to become part of downtown Mundelein's revitalization and growth. This is the first private, ground up, construction project in the downtown area since the adoption of the new Zoning Ordinance in September of 2012. The features of Mundelein Community Bank's new facility will be consistent with the new architectural standards for the downtown area and are designed to be similar to the new Village Hall, including a clock tower.
