Bordeaux signs Sweden striker Thelin

BORDEAUX, France (AP) - Sweden striker Isaac Kiese Thelin has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with French club Bordeaux.

The 22-year-old Malmo forward completed his medical on Thursday before signing a contract reportedly worth 3.5 million euros ($4 million).

Thelin made his Champions League debut this season and scored five goals in 14 league games as Malmo retained its title. His good performances also earned him his first caps with Sweden in November last year.
