Milwaukee man gets 10 years in Brown County heroin death

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - A 23-year-old Milwaukee man will spend more than nine years in prison after admitting he sold heroin that led to the March 2014 death of a Brown County man.

Arthur D. Graham Jr. was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison and given credit for 320 days he already spent in jail. He also was sentenced to 10 years of probation and ordered to pay more than $11,000 in restitution to the family of Jeremy Schleis.

Prosecutors said Graham sold heroin to Schleis in Milwaukee the night before he died from an overdose in Lawrence.

Press-Gazette Media (http://gbpg.net/1GA4xB1 ) reports Graham apologized in court Wednesday to the Schleis family and said he was willing to accept full responsibility for his actions.
