Man who died in Michigan snowmobile accident is identified

TUSCARORA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A 37-year-old Monroe man who died in a snowmobile accident in Cheboygan County has been identified.

The Tuscarora Township Police Department responded to the crash on the Gaylord to Mackinaw City Railroad Trail System early Saturday morning. Police say they found the driver of the snowmobile less than two miles south of a road near the Indian River.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Blade of Toledo, Ohio, reports (http://bit.ly/1J7o49R ) Daniel Cerrone was an Air Force veteran. A service is Wednesday.

Police say the snowmobile went off the trail and hit several trees.
