Performance pays tribute to 'Great Ladies of Song'

"The Great Ladies of Song" will be showcased in Fox Valley Park District's ongoing Dinner Theatre Tribute Series on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Prisco Community Center, 150 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora.

Dinner will be served at 1:30 p.m., followed by a performance by Jae Wilkins, who will perform the music of Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Judy Garland, Etta James and others.

Among the many hit songs she will perform are "Respect," "I Will Always Love You" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

A roast beef dinner will include roasted potatoes, vegetables, "Aretha Salad" and a dessert of cherries jubilee.

Tickets are $29 for the all-ages show and available online at seatyourself.biz/foxvalleyparkdistrict or in-person at Prisco.

Also, a special double-discount is available featuring tickets to Great Ladies and the Feb. 18 dinner theater "Elvis: The Legend Lives On." The package deal for both is $50 - a total savings of $8.
