Snowmobiler killed in Waupaca County

MANAWA, Wis. (AP) - One person has died in a snowmobile accident in Waupaca County.

Sheriff's officials say the driver of a snowmobile was killed Sunday after he struck a fallen tree on the Manawa Mill pond.

The 26-year-old man was thrown from the sled and pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not been identified.
