Minnesota woman sentenced for role in Greenville homicide
APPLETON, Wis. (AP) - A 40-year-old Minnesota woman has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison for her role in the 2007 slaying of a Greenville woman.
Rosie Campbell pleaded no contest in October to criminal damage to property and theft as a repeat offender. An initial charge of party to first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Lara Plamann was dropped in exchange for testimony against Campbell's former co-defendants, Dianna and Kandi Siveny.
Campbell told police Dianna Siveny hired her to kill Plamann, Siveny's domestic partner. Campbell said she backed out and instead witnessed Kandi Siveny carry out the shooting.
The theft and damage charges against Campbell are in regards to a separate incident before Plamann's death. Campbell vandalized a car and stole a stereo belonging to a woman who had previously dated Plamann.
