Dundee-Crown's Tripp rolls a 298

Dundee-Crown's Angie Tripp bowled a school record 298 and the Chargers needed every bit of it as they defeated rival Jacobs for the first time in program history in Algonquin Thursday.

Tripp, who also tied a school record with a high series of 678, was in the zone from the word go.

"She was dialed in for the first 10 strikes; she just crushed the pocket on them," Chargers' coach Dave Mensching said.
