Suspect held in double fatal shooting in northern Michigan
ROGERS CITY, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in the northern Lower Peninsula say they've made an arrest in the fatal shooting of two people.
The Presque Isle County sheriff's department in Rogers City says in a news release that it got a call about 8 a.m. Thursday about a possible shooting.
The department says that deputies went to the scene and found two people dead.
The sheriff's department says a suspect is in custody. It isn't disclosing the exact location of the killings, but TV station WPBN/WTOM says they happened in Pulawski Township.
That's about 100 miles east-northeast of Traverse City.
