2014 Tony winner launches national tour in Chicago

The national tour of the 2014 Tony Award-winning musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" will launch in Chicago Sept. 29, Broadway in Chicago announced Wednesday.

The show, by book writer/lyricist Robert L. Freedman and composer/lyricist Steven Lutvak, is about a distant heir to his family's fortune determined to jump the line of succession and inherit the money by any means necessary.

"A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" received 2014 Tonys for best musical, book, direction and costumes.

Performances will run from Sept. 29 through Oct. 11 at the Bank of America Theatre, 18 W. Monroe St., Chicago. Tickets for groups of 10 or more are available now by phone at (312) 977-1710. Individual tickets will go on sale later. For details, visit broadwayinchicago.com.
