Eastern Iowa man accused of sexually assaulting child
DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - An eastern Iowa man has been accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child.
The Telegraph Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1yc5ifz ) 25-year-old Dustin M. Dean appeared in a southwestern Wisconsin court Monday for a child sexual assault charge. He is free on $45,000 bond.
Court records say Dean sexually assaulted the young girl several times between June 2012 and August 2014. When a sexually transmitted disease was discovered, the girl came forward with stories of the assaults.
An online case file does not list an attorney.
Dean will next appear in court Jan. 21. He faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
