Giants' World Series trophy to visit Reno on March 14

RENO, Nev. (AP) - The San Francisco Giants are bringing their latest World Series trophy to Reno in March.

Fans will have a chance to get their picture taken with the trophy when it makes its final stop on a West Coast tour at Aces Ballpark on March 14 from noon to 2 p.m.

The team says it also will be in Reno the week before on a date yet to be determined.

The Giants beat the Kansas City Royals in seven games to win the 2014 World Series, their third world championship in five years. The trophy also traveled to Reno in 2010 and 2012.

Professional photos will be available for a fee. But fans also can take one group or individual photo for free.
