Arlington Hts. offers reduced price cholesterol screenings
To commemorate National Heart Awareness Month, the village of Arlington Heights is offering cholesterol screenings at a reduced cost on Jan. 21, Feb. 11 and Feb. 14.
Total, HDL and LDL cholesterol screenings are $15, down from a normal price of $20. The test requires a 12-hour fast beforehand. Medicare cannot be billed for this service as Arlington Heights is not an approved provider.
Arlington Heights Nursing Services will perform the tests from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at the Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. Screenings on Wednesday, Feb. 11 and Saturday, Feb. 14 will be held in Health Services, located on the first floor of Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.
