Mariota says he has not decided NFL future

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota says he has not made a decision about whether to leave Oregon and enter the NFL draft.

The junior has been expected to go pro after three seasons as a starter and a Heisman Trophy. Mariota is considered a likely first-round draft pick

He said after Oregon lost the first College Football Playoff national championship game 42-20 to Ohio State that he would take a few days to discuss the decision with his family. The deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft is Jan. 15.
