Pewaukee man dies in snowmobile accident in Vilas County

SAYNER, Wis. (AP) - Authorities say a Pewaukee man has died in a snowmobile accident in northern Wisconsin.

The Vilas County sheriff's office says 34-year-old Jason Ringle was driving a snowmobile on a trail Saturday when he fell off the machine and was struck from behind by another snowmobile in his group.

The accident happened on a snowmobile trail off of Birch Spring Road in Plum Lake Township.

The crash remains under investigation.
