Mother, son identified as Flint double homicide victims

FLINT, Mich. (AP) - A 54-year-old woman and her 19-year-old son have been identified as the victims of a double homicide in Flint that took place during an apparent home invasion.

The Flint Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1xPxG5E ) Sue Lynn Burns and Vanthony John Henry Burns were found shot to death on Wednesday afternoon at Atherton East Apartments. The killings marked the third and fourth Flint homicides this year.

Flint police Chief James Tolbert says authorities believe the victims were targeted. The investigation is ongoing.
