District 73 kindergarten:

Parents of Hawthorn Elementary District 73 children planning to attend kindergarten in fall 2015 are invited to attend an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Hawthorn Middle School South, 600 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. The meeting is for parents of children turning 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2015. The meeting will include details about the registration process, kindergarten curriculum, and the new full-day kindergarten program provided to all District 73 kindergartners.
