Authorities reopen I-80 in Iowa after multi-vehicle crash

STOCKTON, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have reopened Interstate 80 in eastern Iowa after a multi-vehicle crash closed the eastbound lanes.

Maj. Thomas Gibbs with the Scott County Sheriff's Office says the Thursday afternoon crash was reported near Stockton, and lanes were reopened around 5 p.m. There are no reports of injuries.

There is traffic congestion between Walcott and Davenport. Gibbs says the crash involved some semitrailers and caused a fuel leak, but additional information is unavailable. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.
