Bruce Tall rejoining West Virginia as defensive line coach

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Bruce Tall is rejoining West Virginia as defensive line coach.

Head coach Dana Holgorsen announced Tall's hiring Wednesday.

Tall spent the past four years as defensive coordinator at Charlotte.

He was the safeties coach at West Virginia from 2003-07, then followed Rich Rodriguez to Michigan, where Tall was the defensive line coach from 2008-10.

Tall's hiring fills a spot on the coaching staff that opened up when offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Shannon Dawson was hired at Kentucky.
