Ecker Center nets $1,000 for Christmas tree sales

The Ecker Center for Mental Health in Elgin recently received a $1,000 check from Windy Hill Christmas Tree Farm in Gleason, Wisconsin, and Ziegler ACE Hardware in Elgin.

The program - a first for Ecker Center - was a continuation of the traditional tree sales which used to be conducted at Larkin Center.

"We didn't know exactly what to expect, but are extremely happy with the results," Beyer said. "Thanks to Windy Hill, Ziegler Ace and a lot of loyal tree sale customers we are looking forward to making this an annual event to benefit Ecker."

Ziegler Ace Hardware is at 215 N. Spring St., Elgin. For more information about the programs and services available at the Ecker Center, visit eckercenter.org.
