Police identify Milwaukee man killed by train

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. - Police have identified the man struck and killed by an Amtrak commuter train near the Wisconsin and Illinois border.

Mateo Moutry of Milwaukee died Friday evening after he was hit by a northbound train traveling on the Canadian Pacific Railroad tracks in Pleasant Prairie. Rail service was temporarily disrupted following the incident.

WISN-TV reports police are continuing to investigate why the 18-year-old and another person were on railroad property. Police believe the incident was accidental.
