Lombard health fair kick-starts fitness resolutions

If getting back in shape is the most popular of New Year's resolutions, it may also be the hardest to keep.

That's where the Lombard Park District stepped in Sunday to help with its annual Health Fair and Fitness Expo at the Sunset Knoll Recreation Center.

The event provided visitors nearly everything they need to know to maintain their fitness resolutions, from fitness class demonstrations and blood pressure screenings, to information from local health and wellness vendors. There were even chair massages and prizes.
