Bulls without 2 starters against Celtics
CHICAGO (AP) - Jimmy Butler and Mike Dunleavy Jr. will not play for the Bulls tonight against the Boston Celtics.
Butler is on bereavement leave, and Dunleavy will miss the game due to a right ankle injury. Butler is averaging a team-leading 21.9 points along with 6.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season.
Dunleavy was hurt Thursday in the Bulls' 106-101 victory over the Denver Nuggets. He had yet to miss a game with the Bulls since joining the team in 2013. Dunleavy is averaging 9.6 points and 3.8 rebounds this season.
The Bulls are also without rookie Doug McDermott, who has a right knee injury and has not played since Nov. 30.
