Quit smoking for a New Year's resolution

Quit smoking as your New Year's resolution! "Freedom From Smoking" is a seven-week free program for adults trying to quit smoking.

Learn what triggers the need to continue smoking, how to cope with changes in quitting and how to find the necessary support.

It will be offered from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 6 to Feb. 17, in the St. Francis Room at Presence St. Joseph Hospital, 77 N. Airlite St. in Elgin.
