Kids, parents ring in the New Year at St. Charles Library
The Norman C. Huntley meeting room at the St. Charles Library was filled with song and dance Wednesday as the library hosted Noon Year's Eve, a daytime celebration for families with kids in preschool through eighth grade.
More than 140 visitors, many wearing handmade and decorated hats, were able to ring in 2015 with music and dancing and a sparkling juice toast.
Youth Services librarian Emily Conradt led the group in song and dance, accompanied by strobe lights.
It was held in conjunction with the library's second annual book drop.
