Registration for Wasco softball begins Jan. 1

Registration for Wasco Girls Fastpitch Softball for the 2015 Spring/Summer season begins Thursday, Jan. 1. This recreational softball league is celebrating its 27th year.

Registration is open to all girls in kindergarten through 12th grade. Fees are the same regardless of where you live. Players develop their skills with the emphasis on fun. Games are played in the evenings and some Saturdays in northwest St. Charles. Practices start in April and conclude late June/early July.

Players may register online at www.wascofastpitch.com, download a mail-in registration form, or call the hotline at (630) 513-1200 through Feb. 23.

In addition to the in-house rec league, they also have All Star teams, the Wasco Warriors. The Warriors not only participate in the in-house season, but also in several area tournaments without the year-round commitment and expense of full-time "travel." Tryouts are Jan. 18.
