An interview with Milt Wikell

Q: How long have you been decorating your house like this?

A: We've been decorating our house like this for 14 years. Every year we add a little more.

Q: What inspired you to go all out with your decorations?

A: I enjoy doing it. I enjoy people stopping and looking at it. Everything is handmade.

Q: How many strings of lights are involved?

A: 25 plus our spotlights.

Q: How many hours does it take to put up the display?

A: 25 hours. About three hours per day.

Q: How much does your electric bill spike in December?

A: $75

Q: What do your neighbors think of your display?

A: Last year my wife had surgery and we didn't put anything up, and one of my neighbors asked, "Why didn't you put anything up?" They look forward to it.
