CVS network back online after three-hour outage
A network outage Saturday morning kept CVS pharmacies across Chicago and throughout the nation from being able to fulfill new prescription orders for about three hours.
Corporate officials said the "insurance adjudication system lost connectivity for about an hour," but employees and customers said the outage lasted longer.
The outage began at about 10:30 a.m. and prevented employees from being able to process new prescription orders until shortly after 1 p.m.
