Dolce, defense carry Conant

Chris Dolce scored a team-high 13 points, and a dominant first-half defensive performance helped carry host Conant past Buffalo Grove 56-26 on Tuesday in a Mid-Suburban League crossover.

Kyle Bradley finished with 11 points, and Jimmy and Danny Sotos had 6 apiece for the Cougars (4-5), who led at halftime 32-4.

Collin Calcagno led the Bison with 13 points, including three 3s.

St. Viator 62, Wheaton Academy 39: The host Lions had 10 players scored in securing a nonconference victory at home.

Sal Cannella led the way with a game-high 13 points, and Patrick McNamara and Mark Falotico had 9 apiece for St. Viator.

The Lions led 31-12 at the half and didn't allow a Wheaton Academy player to score in double figures.
