Balanced Lakes takes a victory

Lakes 57, Grant 44: Lakes got balanced scoring in a North Suburban Prairie Division win over Grant.

Ellie Haviland topped Lakes with 15 points. She also dished out 4 assists.

"This was one of Ellie's best games," Lakes coach Pete Schneider said. "She has so much talent and good to see some things fall for her. "

Olivia Pawlak had 12 points and 9 rebounds for Lakes.

Jasmine Sangster led Grant with a game-high 21 points.

"Sangster is a good player and she can do a lot, and some of her points came late in the game," said Schneider, whose teams is 4-5 overall and 1-2 in the NSC Prairie.
