Libertyville buildings to come down:

The long-awaited demolition of the Brainerd Building and Jackson Gym in Libertyville could occur next week, officials said. Demolition crews could start Monday or Tuesday to take down the Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 properties, which are on Route 176 east of the current Libertyville High campus. The land will be turned into athletic fields and parking.
