Ruhlmann hits 24, but Grayslake Central falls

Glenbrook South 69, Grayslake Central 60: Sam Ruhlmann led the host Rams with 24 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. He shot 10 of 11 from the foul line.

Michael Benko and Joey Mudd added 9 and 8 points, respectively, for Grayslake Central.

Woodstock 54, Wauconda 48: Ricky Sidlowski scored 17 points for the visiting Bulldogs (4-3), who led 25-24 at halftime but got outscored 16-6 in the third quarter.

Lake Zurich 73, Zion-Benton 68: On Friday night, Mike Travlos scored 27 points and Nick Meyer added 18 points and 13 rebounds for the host Bears in their North Suburban Lake Division opener.

Will McClaughry added 10 points for Lake Zurich, while Nick Penny and Jack O'Neill both had 9. Penny also dished out 6 assists and had zero turnovers against Zion-Benton's press.

Tennessee-bound Admiral Schofield scored 31 points for Zion-Benton, which trailed 35-24 at halftime.
