Believe Project: $100 to help cousin whose daughter needs home health care

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Nichole Viverito of Elgin.

Here is an excerpt of her pitch:

"My cousin's 6-year-old girl, Aubrey, has been in the hospital several times recently having multiple surgeries as the doctors tried to figure out what her ailment is. They have discovered she has Crohn's disease and celiac disease. My cousin also just lost her job this week.

"The medical bills are piling up and Aubrey needs 24-hour home care, which costs thousands of dollars."

• The Believe Project will mail a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else. Email us your pitch of 100 words or fewer (include your name, address and hometown) to specialevents@dailyherald.com.
