President's in charge but clueless

I see the president's reaction to the "Gruber tapes" is the same one he has used several times before. You know the one, the "I am really angry ... I will get to the bottom of this ... I didn't know a thing about this until I saw it in the media."

It has more or less been established that he knew he was being disingenuous with his oft-repeated "If you like you plan/doctor, you can keep your plan/doctor," but now he is shocked to learn that deception was used to get Obamacare passed into law.

The executive branch oversees agencies like the Department of Justice, Veterans Affairs, National Security Agency, Internal Revenue Service and the Department of State, yet he has claimed complete ignorance in all their scandals and problems. Now we are expected to believe he had no knowledge of how his signature legislation was written. If President Obama is anywhere near as smart as most people seem to think he is, then he has surrounded himself with a staff far below his own intellectual capacity.

Even better then this, however, has been Nancy Pelosi's reaction to the tapes. After attempting to pretend she didn't know Professor Gruber, she seemed to say that although he admitted deception was used as a valuable tool in passing Obamacare as well as calling the American voter stupid, it didn't matter because it was a year ago and he has backtracked on his statements.

I say thank you for your honesty, Professor Gruber. Enjoy the enormous amount of money in taxpayer funds you received for not helping to write the bill, according to Ms. Pelosi. Now I would prepare myself for the underside of the bus treatment you will no doubt receive from Team Obama.
