Free Community Lecture: How to Help Someone Dealing with Depression

Nearly 25 million Americans will have an episode of depression this year alone, but only one-half receive treatment. This serious medical illness is a life-long condition that affects one's thoughts, feelings, behavior, mood and physical health. Join Psychiatrist Chandra Vedak, MD as he discusses signs and symptoms of depression and tips on how you can help a family member or friend cope with the illness.

This free community health lecture will be held on Tuesday, December 16 from 6:30-8p.m. at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital 450 West Highway 22 in Barrington in Ground Conference Room A & B.
