Retired Lake County teachers meet

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Lambs Farm restaurant at Route 176 and I-94 near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. This month will celebrate "A Prairie Holiday" with singer-songwriter Rick Pickren. A descendant of Buffalo Bill Cody, he has shared the stage with George Strait, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton and the Judds. Pickren combines great music with the stories behind the music. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
