Tea Party prefers to undermine Obama
John Boehner and the Republicans are upset that the president is going to act through Executive Power to improve our broken immigration system. But, the GOP has had 511 days to take up the Senate bill in the House and, because Ted Cruz and the other Tea Party radicals object, refused to act. There has been no vote in the Republican house for a year and a half!
The Republicans should quit whining and do their jobs. Vote on immigration in the House. There are enough votes to pass a legislative fix if the GOP will stop obstructing Obama. But, like minimum wage and infrastructure bills, the Tea Party led Congress would rather undermine the president than do what is right for the country on immigration.
