Hanover Township to host Dec. 1 seminar on property tax appeals
Hanover Township will hold a seminar on Dec. 1 helping taxpayers interested in appealing their property tax bills.
Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will answer questions and accept property assessment appeals during the 7 p.m. seminar at the township's Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59 in Bartlett.
"We understand navigating through the appeals process can be frustrating so we encourage residents to attend the seminar or come to the township office for help," township Assessor Thomas S. Smogolski said in a news release.
Taxpayers also can file an appeal online at Cookcountyboardofreview.com until Dec. 15.
For details, contact the township assessor's office at (630) 837-0301 or email assessor@hanover-township.org.
