Arlington Hts., Schaumburg Twp. libraries win accolades

The Arlington Heights Memoiral Library and the Schaumburg Township District Library each earned a five-star ranking from the Library Journal's Index of Public Library Service. The index measures circulation statistics, library visits, program attendance and public computer use on a per capita basis. Using 2012 data from 7,586 libraries, 85 libraries received the five-star rating this year. Six of those libraries are from Illinois, including the Ela Area Public Library District and the Naperville Public Library.
