Batavia 62, Christ the King 30: The Bulldogs (1-1) rebounded from an opening loss to Proviso East Monday, and they also recovered from a 7-0 deficit in this game Wednesday night at the Trinity Tournament.
For the next two-and-a-half quarters, the Bulldogs went on a 51-10 run. Six-foot-2 junior Hannah Frazier led the way with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks.
Shea Bayram added 12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block. Stephanie Rodriguez contributed 7 rebounds and 4 assists off the bench.
The Bulldogs will play host Trinity at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Aurora Central Catholic 62, Somonauk 35: The Chargers (2-0) were paced by senior guard Kalie Soris with 16 points and sophomore Taylor Harazin with 14. The Chargers outscored the Indians 32-14 in the second half.
ACC plays tournament host Somonauk Thursday night.
