Mundelein High band concert:

Mundelein High School's instrumental music department will hold its fall band concert on Thursday, Nov. 20, beginning at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. The event is free and will feature the Honors Wind Ensemble, the Honors Symphonic Winds, the Symphonic Band and the Concert Band.

Some of the featured pieces will include "Toccata Marziale" by Ralph Vaughan Williams; "Fortress" by Frank Ticheli; "Russian Sailors' Dance" by Reinhold Glière; and "American Riversongs" by Pierre La Plante.
