Hearing set for suspect in Round Lake Beach shooting

A South suburban man charged in the Nov. 8 slaying of a Round Lake Beach resident will receive a preliminary hearing on Dec. 10.
Jeremy Anderson, 36, of Chicago Heights, was ordered held on a $3 million bond by Lake County Judge Michael Betar during Saturday morning bond court.
Anderson was arrested Wednesday in Gary, Indiana, by the U.S. Marshal Service and extradited to Lake County Thursday.
Authorities obtained a $3 million arrest warrant for Anderson Nov. 9 after he was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He is accused of fatally shooting Anthony Robinson Jr., 31, of Round Lake Beach, in what police labeled a domestic incident.
Police have so far not revealed the nature of the relationship between Anderson and Robinson.
