Perspective

Macro lenses and fall colors go together like ... well, I am not sure, but I do know that when fall rolls around, I like to get out for a walk and check out the colors nature is displaying. This autumn was no different, and definitely did not disappoint. In this picture, raindrops cling to autumn leaves at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles after storms roll through the Fox Valley area. According to the website scienceamadesimple.com, leaves change color as the green chlorophyll disappears from the leaves. Sunlight and the colder temperatures in the fall cause the leaves to turn the trapped glucose into deep red colors.
