Funeral services set for Naperville woman

Visitation and funeral services have been set for a Naperville woman who died after getting hit by a car Sunday while walking her dog.
Visitation for Emily Driscoll, 22, will take place Thursday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home in Naperville. Funeral services will occur at 7 p.m., and interment will be private, according to the funeral home's website.
Loved ones described Driscoll as an outgoing and confident animal lover who adored her greyhound named Quincy.
Driscoll and her dog were struck by a car Sunday at the intersection of Book Road and Rickert Drive. Driscoll was taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville and died from her injuries, authorities said. Her dog also was killed.
