'39 Steps' opens at Wheaton Warrenville South

"The 39 Steps," based on the film by Alfred Hitchcock, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13-15 at Wheaton Warrenville South High School at Butterfield and Wiesbrook roads, Wheaton.

The play offers a mixture of a typical Hitchcock thriller with a juicy spy novel and a dash of Monty Python that results in a fast-paced comedy whodunit. The story follows a man with a boring life who meets a woman who says she's a spy. When he takes her home, she's murdered and the chase is on.

Tickets are $10 and available at the school box office.
