Marathoners reflect on Naperville course

"The course was great. There were a couple of little hills there I wasn't expecting, but the weather was perfect and there were people everywhere, which really energized me. This was my first marathon, so I didn't know what to expect, but it felt awesome."

- Brendan Camplin, Kansas City (Batavia native)

"I went to North Central College and the course went by lots of places where I used to run, so that part was really cool. The support we got from the community along the way was amazing."

- Bobby Mette, Glenview

"You couldn't have asked for better weather, and the crowd was great. There was never a dull moment on this course. I ran this marathon last year, and I have to say I didn't miss the hill this time around."

- Tina Chase, Granger, Indiana

"I really liked the course, especially the fact that it's a loop, which is what I'd rather run. The hills were a challenge, but overall this was an excellent marathon to do. I might come back next year."

 - Janelle Harling, Raleigh, North Carolina (Itasca native)

"It felt so good to cross that finish line. The course was wonderful."

- Nick Trine, Seattle (Naperville native)
