Time for Republicans to step up and lead

The people of Illinois and the nation have spoken. President Obama's agenda has been defeated. Not only have they won the Senate, the Republicans have won more seats in the House and more governorships.

But now it's the responsibility of the Republicans to lead. Obamacare, tax reform, pipeline, regulations, and on and on. Harry Reid has been sitting on more than 300 bills from the House that can now, at least, be brought to committee and have open discussion. This election was a big blow to the liberal big government agenda. It's time our leader in the White House now honors his commitment to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the United States. No more "ruling with the pen" by this president.
