Arlington Hts. baby dies after choking

Arlington Heights police reported the accidental death of an infant earlier this week.

Police responded to the 300 block of East Seegers Road at 12:47 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a 1-year-old child choking, said Arlington Heights officer Brandi Romag in a statement on Thursday.

The child was pronounced dead at the hospital, she said.

Police have concluded their investigation and determined the death was "a tragic accident."
