Police locate missing Lombard mom, children

Police have located a Lombard-area mother and her two children who have been missing for more than two weeks.

Lanette Anderson, 43, left the area of 22nd Street and Glen Avenue in an unincorporated area near Lombard around noon Oct. 19, the DuPage Sheriff's office said.

Authorities said she was heading to a Halloween party with her sons, ages 6 and 2, when she disappeared.

The family was found Tuesday night in Chicago, authorities said.
