Retired teachers meet:

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Lambs Farm restaurant at Route 176 and the Tri-State Tollway near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. The guest speaker is Petty Officer Ed Marshall, who was a parachute-rigger assigned to an anti-submarine squadron. He served between 1956 and 1964 and is now involved in several military organizations, including the Hanger One Foundation, which commemorates the Naval Air Station in Glenview. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
